First and foremost a simple conversation can be had, banning and blocking as they did SHOULD imo come with a conversation of some kind. At the very least say this what you are saying now and allowing a chance to rebut like grown ups. Only the weakest of mind and wills ban and block after “having the last word” like that. It’s cold and callous and institutional in a way that ironically AI email rejections tend to be. I figured when they made the comment about AI someone complained to them (bet it’s the same Karen that was blowing them up for the FUTA nonsense btw) someone miserable and pathetic in their own sense.

Now in regards to AI I am sorry but in a server where people are asking for Spider-Man and anime connections WHILE USING THIS ART FOR THE RP to castigate an OC playing OC content using published free use images and adding text and backgrounds to them which ironically thousands of “graphic designers” do with photoshop but one is bad and the other isn’t? That is hypocrisy at its peak!

This is akin to stagecoach driver screaming about trains and automobiles. It’s painters sneering at a photograph. You are fighting the tide and using the strawman of “environment” to justify your relegation.

I am here to write that is what RP is and if there are tools out there to enhance it and make the verse and storyline more nuanced and in depth then I for one cheer it one. But I am also very liberal in my feelings on it and if someone looks at my blog sees the AI images and says “no” then so be it! That’s their right to do and I encourage it.

Oh and just to be sure we are aware that you are wrong in your assumption on how it’s done.

I made this today. After developing the character concept with the player who wanted him as a connection I gathered three images from Google which were on public sites and thus open for fair use (more so because I am not making any money off this) and told it to make an advertisement for the role I developed and detailed above….. Sorry Photoshop “artists” this makes you redundant.

I am not one for drama. But today I am going to show Screenshots & name names here because this is full on stupid to the Nth degree.

I understand there is a stigma against AI overall and make no judgments on that.

Personally I see it as a useful tool using existing images of Face Claims that are public use, and using them for advertisements and the like. Apparently this is akin to the very worst of rule violations. Which is IRONIC because until this moment when they banned me there were no rules against AI use.... What's more, I wasn't using AI for their ads.

What is even more odd was I was in conversation with these same mods the previous evening over something.... Nevertheless ladies and gentlemen the fools that run GoingFishingRPFinder banning me for violating a rule the did not have at the time, over a violation I did not make on this Blog.

But rest assured I doubt it will remain for long.

Appeasing the sort they appease never ends well. One would think after that whole FUTA fiasco they just endured they would have learned as much.
