What color suits you best ?
More than a decade ago in London, while I was still a student, I adventured myself into a course about Personal Color analysis ā¦ I was not that excited about it but was eager to learn any course it was available in the College and actually what I learned on that lovely Saturday morning, I registered until today. Basically we had a long theory section but what I remember very well was the practice: the test drape. Basically I had to sit down in a chair in the middle of 15 strangers while the Consultant placed a drape around my neck and my classmates had to decide which color group fitted me the best. It was unanimous: I was a ā winterā person. That was a surprise for me because that time I used to quite like bright colors.
So, Personal Color analysis, it is quite simple. Essentially, according to your skin tone, hair and eye color you match a certain group of colors.
There are a wide variety of approaches to analyzing personal coloring. Ā The most used and well-known is āseasonalā color analysis, which places colors into four general categories: Winter (cold tons), Spring (bright tons), Summer (neutral tons) and Autumn (warm tons).
While I was preparing this post, the deeper I entered into the subject, the more controversial I found the color schemes so Iāll try to keep simple and concise.

Spring color palette: BRIGHT COLORS: yellows, spring greens, red-oranges, corals , peach, golden-yellow and golden brownā¦
Summer color palette: NEUTRAL COLORS: Baby blue, powder pink, seafoam green, slate grey , pastels, roses, pale blue, lavender, taupe, powder pink and powder blue.
Autumn color palette: WARM COLORS: Mustard yellow, burnt orange, brown, warm red, beige, avocado green.
Winter color palette: COLD COLORS: Hollyberry red, emerald and evergreen, royal blue, magenta and violet, white, black, navy blue, red and shocking pink.

Finding Your Color Palette
There are many sites where you can discover your color palette. But I think the most effective for me was the test drape. So I prepared something for you:
Save the template below in your computer. Make a quick selfie of your face (clothes should not be visible) and place it inside those templates.If you are still not quite sure, search for pieces of clothes (cold, warm, neutral and bright tons) grab a mirror and in front of the window, place each of the fabric around your neck. For sure you will have the answer !
Once you discover the best color palette for you, you can use them in your clothes, make up and even hair color.
Go ahead and have fun ! Actually while I was preparing this post, I realized that my hair and skin tone changed ever since so I better revise my color palette as well !!!!
