After some encouragement from Christine and much nagging from the Daroga, I have decided to create a blog.

I will be posting my favourite music and inspirations from time to time, to keep me entertained in my home under my Opera House.

Questions are welcome. None about the mask, please.

🕯️ Erik is still very hung up on Christine, although they are friends for now. He is not ready to pursue any other romantic relationship 🕯️

And so, the curtain falls at last.

This blog once brought me comfort, creativity, and joy, but I think its story has reached its end.

After many hiatuses and much thought, I’ve decided to leave this account as an archive of what it once was.

I will no longer be replying to threads, asks, or messages.

To everyone who shared scenes, words, music, and memories with me, thank you, sincerely. It meant more than I can properly express.

The opera has ended now. Take care, everyone.

I’ve been on and off hiatus for a long time, and I think I’ve finally accepted that I’ve outgrown this space.

This blog and this character used to bring me a lot of joy and comfort, and I’ll always be grateful for the people I met and wrote with here.

But I don’t think it’s fair to keep leaving things in limbo or making people wait on replies I no longer have the heart to continue. So I’ve decided to leave this blog as it is and step away from RP for good.

Despite our many squabbles, his incompetence, his inefficiency as well as his inclination to be a sycophant...

I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

I hope (I pray) that this new manager won't be as much of a headache.

The Danse Macabre (Dance of Death) is actually a fairly common artistic genre originating from the Late Middle Ages, on the universality of death, symbolised by dancing skeletons.

In fact, Camille Saint-Saëns composed Danse Macabre, Op. 40, a haunting symphonic poem for orchestra in 1874.

Regretfully, I did catch a cold towards the end of last year... I was kindly nursed back to health by Christine, the Madame, and the Daroga.

In my defence, the opera house has been at its absolute busiest, with non-stop concerts and rehearsals for the past three months.

Do forgive me. Even a ghost isn't infallible to the madness of running an opera house.

Yes. News of "Masquerade NYC" have reached Paris.

I have not paid a visit yet. I might.

Unlike previous casts, hopefully they have chosen someone adequate to play the role of myself.

If they did not, I am certain they wouldn't appreciate something going terribly wrong, would they?
