#opera ghost

I'll most likely start new blogs for each of my consecutive projects, including Opera Ghost's Love Story, which I'm still planning to make once I have more free time (yes, earlier it was Bachelor's and Master's, now it's a PhD and a teaching job which is a requirement for PhD. I think the fact that six eyars later I still wanna develop OGLS is a pretty good indicator I will do it at some point, once I figure out how).

In this post, I will be listing all of the sources that I have actively used during the development of my game. This list is comprehensive, but not exhaustive. Additions are welcomed.

iranicaonline.com - This is a magnificent website. Specifically, most frequently I have visited the "Courts and Courtiers" page.

ottoman-uniforms.com - The "1807 till 1885 Qajar era uniforms" page. is where I took the design of the guards' uniforms from.

"Qajar pages" - a treasury of a website when it comes to Qajar dynasty. It is there where I have discovered the name of Jayran, Forough ol-Saltaneh, and started my research. Specifically, it all started with Naser al-Din's entry.

"Qajar royal succession: the case of Muzaffar al-din Mirza" - This is a dissertation that describes the royal intrigues and the court rivalry that the prince Muzaffar al-din Mirza had to go through before he could become the Crown Prince, and, subsequenty, the next Shah after his father, Naser al-Din. The chapter that interested me the most was Jayran's chapter, which starts on page 120 (titled "The Third Heir Apparent: Amir Muhammad Qasim Mirza").
