Regardless of your race, gender identity, who you love, you are all still human and valid. Love and being who you are is never a crime. The fact you're still here now, is proof of how strong you are. Even if life feels tough right now. Never give up, and keep holding onto hope. You're never alone, and there is always one person who cares. Even if they're strangers halfway across the world.

I am writing this with a heavy heart as my life is in serious danger. I am critically ill, but I cannot afford the treatment I urgently need. The hospital has only given me temporary care and asked me to return with money for medication—money I simply do not have.

My condition is worsening every day. I have even gone without food, and I feel my strength fading.

I am humbly begging for your help. Any support, no matter how small, could save my life.

In Gorom Refugee Camp, we continue to live with courage even when the world around us makes survival a challenge.

We are queer, we are trans, we are feminine, we are ourselves — and none of that is a crime. None of that is wrong.

But every day, we face violence, rejection, hunger, and deep uncertainty simply because of who we are.

We deserve safety.

We deserve dignity.
