The memory fades around them, the magic of the Crossroads dissipating. After a moment, Felassan claps his hands together. "Well! That was unpleasant!" His smile is tight, the branches of his vallaslin twisting around his eyes, cheer forced in a way he cannot quite hide.

The spirits had waited, watching expectantly until he took his place among them in their reenactment of the memory. He would have much preferred to join his companions rather than follow after the reflection of Solas conjured by the Crossroads, but it became clear that he could not escape his role when they would not begin without him. At least the grief in the pit of his stomach is familiar and he's more than used to carrying it.

Like fresh ocean air, but it isn't salt that scents the breeze it's something older.

This was different, she'd heard about these things from the others during team meetings but feeling it, living it was just different. She glances over at Felassan who wears a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. She doesn't like it when they don't glimmer with puckish mirth, he was a spy of sorts, he should be better at it. He crinkles his eyes right, it should be a smile she can believe when it's accompanied by that loose, lackadaisical posture he wears like a comfortable jacket.

But his voice, it's wrong and Kasaanda doesn't like it.
