Esme: this is really awkward..

Esme: but I think I left my underwear in your room after that party.

Esme: it was Victoria Secrets.. guess she wasn't keeping my secret that night.

Theodore: im sure it's in with the pile of other girls underwear, take your pick.

she straightened herself out after the expected shove. “ like a normal human being, ” she explains, “ yeah, sure, but you could also get a degree and actually learn something. but then again - what do i know ? you can only be a slacker for so long. ”

A mocking laugh escaped the brunette’s lips before an intentional over-exaggerated eye roll. “Sorry, what? -- Couldn’t hear you over all that ugly.” He spoke, shifting his stance. “How do we even have the same genes?” 

“hey, Cooper.” Holden had been standing there, watching as the other male spoke to himself. it wasn’t an intentional stalker moment, he just wasn’t too sure if his eyes were deceiving him or not. taking a drink from the paper coffee cup that he held onto loosely, he took a step back out of pure embarrassment on his own behalf. “you uh…you back for the rest of the semester, man?”

When the other males voice broke him out of his daze, he glanced over to give him a shrug. “We’ll see. You know me and my disappearing acts -- just can’t get enough time on the outside.” A chuckle escaped his lips as he raised an eyebrow nonchalantly, “I can’t tell if you’re happy or absolutely devastated I’m back. -- Bittersweet, eh? I know. You’ll be fine, I won't rag on you too hard just yet.” 

“ stop acting like the antagonist in a mtv sitcom, ” she tells him with the roll of her eyes and a small scoff as she adjusted the bag on her shoulder before crossing her arms over her chest, “ you’re back to get a degree, dumbass. ” 

Narrowing his eyes at the petite brunette, he gave her a light shove with his hip. “Our lives have practically been a badly narrated soap opera. How else do you think I should act?” He mused, groaning softly. “Fuck the degree, I could be the head of any company I bought out in a minute. I’ve been skating by for years, ‘Lil Coop -- circling you like the piranha I am.”
