Dora Brandenburg-Polster (August 9 , 1884 in Magdeburg - March 18 , 1958 in Böbing) was a German illustrator, painter and graphic artist.
Dora Polster initially attended the drawing school in Eisenach and from 1902 to 1907 studied at the teaching and experimental studios for applied and fine arts under Wilhelm von Debschitz in Munich . Afterwards, she was employed by Debschitz and worked in all areas of applied arts and interior design . She became known for her woodcuts and lithographs, as well as her work for the Schwabing Shadow Plays , a puppet theater founded by Alexander von Bernus .
From 1908 onwards, Dora Polster worked as a freelance artist. From this time onwards, she increasingly turned to landscape and animal painting. via W

Margaret (Margarethe) Michaelis-Sachs (née Gross, 6 April 1902 – 10 October 1985) was an Austrian-Australian photographer of Polish-Jewish origin. In addition to her many portraits, her scenes of the Spanish Civil War in Barcelona, Spain, and other places and her images of the Jewish quarter in Kraków in the 1930s are of lasting historical interest. via W
