Unfortunately, Toriel is not home... and Frisk, for as mature and beyond their years they were sometimes, was still a child.
...Kurai now has that heavy quilt tossed overtop of him.
"You don't need to worry to much about that yet. at the bare minimum, until you can get back on your feet or find that answer, we'll be there for you. You'll need someplace to live, after all! Though, it's likely going to start with a stay with someone else while the house gets fixed. Still. There's no rush to figure things out. We'll be here until you do."
Kurai wasn't quite sure he understood most of that. "...Live...?" It wasn't something he considered. He hadn't considered any of this actually. He had never imagined that he would actually escape Metal Sonic's grasp and be able to be free and live on his own terms.
He didn't have a plan. It was all new and that was where the anxiety was coming from. He gave a glance at Alphys, uncertainty.
The hedgehog wasn't alone. "Okay." Wherever he was going next, he was going to have to trust them to lead him. Even though that was very scary for him.
He was just going to have to trust them. For now though, he suddenly felt the need to rest.

Really really sorry with how quiet I am nowadays on this blog. I haven't had a lot of active threads plus things like my fatigue and it being so FUCKING humid and hot already where I am.
I will do my best to reply when I can. AND I'm open to more RPs if anyone is interested!
...That's the tricky part of these multiversal events. It may not be the version you knew before. The Zeldas and links were a prime example of that. Still, the princess noted the name to be aware of. Especially with the Olympics... Still, it was clear she made note of the matter.
"Of course. The less suffering the better, but sometimes pain to be rid of something entirely is what's necessary. I am just saying if we find no other solution... I have the means to make the risky choice as safe as feasible. No one should deal with something like that looming over their head." Her conviction is clear, sympathetic, and gentle.
"...It feels weird discussing this without him here though. His voice matters in a case like this."
Kin gave a few nods of agreement to what she said. He knew sometimes it was the only choice one had, even if it was most painful one. If there was any way to reduce the harm done to his friend however, he was going to take it way before. Kurai had suffered enough.
Most of them did.
"He would fight against all of this." Kin said matter of factly. "He wouldn't want any attempt at removing the collar, even though it would be good for him."
"He's anxious about it..." Copy said softly. "Its hurt him so much already..."
There was a beat of silence before Momo gestured towards one of the logs around the strange fire. "Would you like to sit?"
"My dialect may be a bit dated, but yes. Sorry for the intrusion... Where is it this piece ended up? I'm just trying to take note after they got scattered." Straight to the point, apparently.
Still, the person reflected in this mirror shard looked like the hero, clothed in darkness. A shadow of the real thing, truly. He didn't rush for an answer though, just staring with that neutral experience.
Latona stared into the shard, not answering his questions at first as she studied him. She remembered seeing glimpses of the hero before he had been declared dead. Not enough to see how similar the person in the shard was to him though.
"The desert." The Gerudo answered. "What used to be the land of the Gerudo." It wasn't anymore though. Only she remained now. "Did you lose many?"
No. I am not excited about the remake.

Honestly, they have so many unique OCs based on teh fandom that fills interesting gaps i hadn't thought of. The guardians of the pendants? what a thought- I may have done something vaguely similar with Shadow Link and the foursword, but they built it from scratch. They gave the poe sisters a personality and life before death. there's so much interesting ideas here that folks should explore!

"We're all clear!" There's such a casual cheer to Frisk's voice. "Your tormentor has just been sent on a wild goose chase- two birds, one stone as the saying goes. Everything's going to be ok now. We'll help you get on your feet, and if he does to ever try something again... You're not going to be alone. You're safe now!" They sounded so sure, so confident, and calm.
Frisk didn't seem rattled in the least by any of todays events. One can practically hear a smile on the other side.
Kurai seemed to stare at the air in front of him, disbelief and confusion on his face. Frisk sounded so lighthearted to him after what just happened. Some part of the hedgehog knew there was supposed to be the feeling of relief. Metal Sonic was gone. Kurai was free of the robot and the collar. Toriel was safe.
Kurai could start a whole new life.
But there wasn't exactly relief, just confusion and the growing feeling of anxiety from being unsure of what comes next. "Oh..." He should be happy right now. "...what... now?"

A Shadowy Reflection

It doesn't react, really. Looking through it was a dimmed reflection of the area, though, she did not show up, and there were inconsistencies. For instance, what may be ruins around Latona, some were still intact in the reflection. It was the same, just... twisted.
There's nothing for a while. Nothing for hours even, then finally, a voice, clear talking to himself. "Now where did this piece end up?"
"Damn it, I don't see any signs here either... at least a few are still where they should be." Either that shadowy reflection of the hero looking through hadn't noticed Latona, or he didn't think about how he might be heard right now.
The reflection within the mirror shard was strange. Strange enough that Latona pocketed the fragment as she went on her way. Within those hours of nothing, she would make her way to her home, placing it down onto a surface as she moved around doing her daily tasks.
Until she heard a voice.
Quickly but cautiously, she approached it. Her hands gentle as she picked up the glass to see into it again. <<"Ah. I knew you weren't what you seemed.">> Magic. She did not do magic herself, but she had been around others that could. It always had a certain feel to it.
"Hylian?" She asked, switching away from her mother tongue.

The struggle between wanting more threads but knowing I have been lagging on threads lately-
a character who truly, legitimately goes “but why does that matter?” about their feelings when someone who cares about them asks. and the sudden falling of everyone around them’s faces as they realize that this person doesn’t recognize themself as someone who needs or should be taken care of. i want Everyone to hurt. surprise at the idea, worry for them, horror at not having noticed. do you see this person who doesn’t think of themselves as a person?
