I know Cheryl hates me because of my sister, but I have no clue why Brooke doesn’t like me and I don’t know if I’ll ever understand. She calls me Becky. And she knows my name. So maybe you talk and listen, and Kieran or I write it out. If you want to stop by the hospital to grab it for a little bit, you’re welcome to. My mom brought over my laptop so I can still text and everything. It won’t be suspicious that way… I’m just putting it out there that having a target on your back is no fun, though. I mean, just so you know, when I told them everyone’s looking into things and that they couldn’t stab everything, they made it very clear that they would.

That’s great news, honestly. I don’t think I paint myself a good picture with all my crazy killer knowledge so... but yea, I definitely didn’t stab you. So, great. 

Or she’ll just write a tell all in the Blue and Gold, that seems to be the most likely occurrence. I’ve forced her to sit through it before, so she’ll probably put up a fight but I’m not taking no for an answer.

Yea, honestly, that seems like the better thing to wait for. Or until the hight of it all kind of dies down and the light is pushed off of her. Otherwise, I’d keep the survivor probing to a minimum. Audrey or Emma? Well, alright then. I’m oddly kind of excited over a normal night in. 

Agreed. This is getting too close to my friend circle and I don’t care for that shit at all.

As long as your friend circle continues to act as cautiously as possible until the killer is caught, you should hopefully all be fine. You know, assuming the regular slasher movie laws aren’t coming into play here.

Oh I wasn’t planning on asking her myself, especially not now. I’ll get Ronnie to do it since they’ve been spending a lot of time together. I just don’t get why this is all happening. Not that anyone does, I guess that’s the point. Will do, Noah. We can invite Emma and Audrey too if you want, make it a group thing.

I don’t think Veronica should do that either. Sensitive subject and all. If Betty wants to share then Betty will share. We’ll get an explanation eventually, or not. Depending on the person and the motives. Sure, that sounds good to me. Not sure if Audrey will be into The Notebook, but I’m cool with hanging out with Emma too. 

Dude, this sucks. I wish we’d just go back to being Boringville. At least people weren’t afraid of get murdered back then. Guess so.

Cheryl and Brooke both hate me. The only reason they let me on was because of Veronica and now I don’t even think that would be enough. But really it’s fine. I’ll see what happens when I’m better. Our first edition felt mostly like eulogies for Jason and Ms. Grundy, so now we’re looking for some variety in our pieces. I… honestly didn’t think I’d found much, but apparently this person disagrees. I can definitely hand off my phone. But all of this stays a secret, since I already apparently have a huge target on my back and I don’t want you having one too. The thing is, I thought I was being cautious.

I wouldn’t blame anyone for putting me on it, this is a trust no one kind of time. But, hopefully giving my word that I’m not a suspect can be enough. I mean, I can barely squish a spider, killing or hurting a person would be impossible for me.

One thing you can look forward to about it though; eventually they need to fall from that cloud nine. Reality will hit her eventually. 

You sound like you should be writing fortunes for fortune cookies when you say stuff like that. But yeah, I’m sure they didn’t enter the party wearing…whatever the hell it is that murderers wear. I guess they could just be wearing normal clothes though, right? Maybe we should ask Betty what she remembers. It’s only a matter of time before you’re in charge of it all, let’s be honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if I cracked open a fortune cookie and found that exact sentence in there already. I guess so, but then they’ve risk their face being seen so they need to be covered from the neck up. I don’t think that’s something to bother Betty with right now, no offense. I don’t know if I like the idea of that or not, being in charge of this stuff. Puts you are fault for things. And you got yourself a deal. So how do we start crossing people off of the suspect list? Am I off of it? If I’m not, can I be? I feel like getting stabbed should get me off of it.

I was barely let onto the squad. There’s no way they’re going to make any unusual exceptions for me now. But that’s okay, I guess. More time to focus on other things… like figuring out who did this. And keeping the Blue and Gold running. Okay, well, I had sort of been digging into the Jason and Grundy murders. And then today I got a text from an anonymous number basically telling me to stop digging or else things’d be worse.

You don’t. At least not without looking at the whole picture. Which I’m not too sure we have yet... Yea Bet, you’re off of it. 

Yeah, but she got stabbed. I wanna stay as far away from that as possible. True, she’s probably who we should stick around. I don’t know. Just seems like she’s kinda pissed at me. I’m getting a weird vibe from her and we haven’t really talked or hung out like usual.

Suit yourself in that one, I guess. And yea, probably. But then again, there’s no sure way to know who’s safe and who isn’t. ... Weird vibes? Yikes. Guess that’s something you should hash out with her.

I couldn’t have said it better myself, Noah. And she’s still walking around like she’s the only one affected by this tragedy.

Yea, she started getting all whiney and cat-screechy with me about Jason’s death. I didn’t have the heart to disregard it, after all we all mourn at our own pace. But, someone should seriously help her to understand that we’re all kind of in danger now.... Jason was just the tipping point...

I know. It just… sucks. All of it. I mean, it was obviously non-fatal. I lost a decent amount of blood, but I actually won’t be in here for too long. I’m out of the River Vixens for a while, though. If I tell you, you can’t tell anyone.

No, right, of course not. But everyone’s a suspect, Betty. Until we unmask this guy, there’s no such thing as being too cautious. 

Betty is automatically out because she’s already got a target on her back. I don’t wanna get shanked by association. Veronica could be cool, plus she’s got that whole fortress thing going on, but it’s kind of a faulty system considering what happened with the whole Betty thing. I’d be too worried about Brooke trying to strangle me in my sleep to feel safe with her.

That’s a fair point, but she generally seems like she knows what she’s talking about. I won’t disagree on the Veronica thing either, but at least she has experience in handling messy situations like that? She knows what to look out for and has learned by doing. Why would Brooke strangle you? Did you do something to her?
