A quick update. I’ll be away for quite some time with little to no opportunity to use the internet. I have my kilt and my legs are unshaven (yet I still don;t have a place to stay) so I am ready for Scotland C: both stickitinabutt and reroguro are queued, one post a day.

Dia backed away a bit from Vanilla, but gave the other vampire's head an affectionate pet.   "I like you... you're more fun to talk to than Jack or Wang Chan.  You're much cuter too."

A little, shy smile makes her lips curl slightly. "I believe they are both long gone." What little she knows of Dia's past, tells her that those were her previous henchmen.

"Oh, I’m sure you do…"  she purred, continuing to gently stroke Vanilla’s cheek.  "You seem like someone who takes their work seriously… I can tell."

She spaces out for a few seconds, going almost cross-eyed with the thoughts racing through her head. She knows Dia is teasing her but can't help but to blush an even deeper shade of red. "My work for you is my everything... it makes me happy to see you pleased with the effects of my work." And it's true, she finds true happiness in servitude, having her life goals straight in front of her.

Dia walked over to the other woman, a small smile on her face.  She reached up to touch Vanilla’s face, her thumb tracing across her cheek.  “It warms my heart to hear that… you seem like a good servant indeed.”

"...T-thank you my Lady." She stammers slightly, but beside that, she remains ramrod straight, politely letting her gaze shift lower. "I do my best to keep all of your needs and demands satisfied."

"I see..."  she said with a little nod.  She observed Vanilla for a moment or two before speaking again.  "Your scent... you have the scent of my blood in you... that Cyndi girl I met had a similar scent."  she said.  "I must have turned you into a vampire, didn't I?"

"I owe my life to you..." She points to the thin, lighter than her usual skin tone scar ringing her neck. "As such, my everything belongs to you."

"It sounds like I've had an... interesting life, to say the least."  she said, after hearing the whole story.  "What about yourself? You seem quite interesting as well..."

"Myself? I am afraid I am not half as interesting..." A self conscious laugh follows her words.  "My life right now is devoted to little tasks around the house, running errands and should a need arise, acting as your bodyguard."

"I’d like to know more about myself… it seems I’ve lost my memories or something, at least that’s what everybody has been telling me, anyway."

Bullseye Dia, this is like, Vanilla's favourite topic to discuss. Ever. She immediately perks up, light blush of excitement dusting over her cheeks. "You, my Lady, are one of the brightest women I a have ever known. Smart intelligent and beautiful, the world lays at your feet. I have had the pleasure of serving you for quite a few years by now, and I know you have this uncanny ability of finding the most interesting and useful people to work for you." She's full of compliments, briefly explaining the Stands and how did Dia's story proceeded until the present day.

"Yes, everything is alright."  she said dryly.   "You must be yet another person I've supposedly met but don't remember meeting... do you live in this house as well?"

"I do. You have taken me under your wings quite some time ago. Do you really don't remember me?" She's acting in a respectful way although, to some degree she sounds somewhat hurt. "Can I be of any assistance?"

However, she didn’t have her Stand anymore, so she couldn’t see Cream.  “Yes…?”  she asked, keeping her distance, not sure if she could trust the other vampire.  “Who are you?”

"My lady... it's me..." sensing some of Dia's distrust, she immediately goes down on one knee, one arm behind her back. "I am your servant. Vanilla Ice. Is everything all right?" It's better not to anger her mistress and take care of her before she runs into some troubles.

She was quiet for a few moments, seeming to be thinking about something.  "Vanilla... do you think I'll be a good mother? Jonathan say's I'm being a good one... but you know how he is."

She knows what her answer is going to be right away but falls quiet for a moment regardless of that. "Yes. I do believe that you will make for a wonderful mother. After all you have taken care of us, your followers and never failed to hold onto your promises. I will follow you to hell and back so will that child, I am sure of that." She takes another breath before a subtle smile quirks her lips. "Although considering who the parents are, I daresay he might be rather...lively."

"Hopefully Jonathan will get his own place soon... that way we can spend more time together with being interrupted."

This little show of affection has Vanilla madly blushing and unsure of how to respond. "I would really like that." her gaze drops to the floor. It's hard to contain herself around Dia, even more when she does things like that and her free hand curls into a fist on her lap.

"I want to thank you... you've been making things much easier, especially when you've watched Johan for me."  she said softly, gently resting her hand on Vanilla's.

"In any and every way my Lady would require of me."

"I’m glad we finally have some time alone… things have been so busy lately, haven’t they?"

"I am formal because I respect you, my Lady" and because she doesn't know any better. Regardless, she perches herself at the edge of the bed, taking a deeper, rather unneeded, breath and finally relaxing a bit. "Indeed they have, how are you handling all of this?"

"Ah, there you are... "  she said, sitting up in her bed.  "You wouldn't mind... keeping me company for awhile, would you?"  she said softly, smiling a bit at Vanilla.

"With great pleasure." She scuttles somewhat closer, and a bit more closer, eventually taking her position near the bed Dia was sat on, briefly returning the smile before politely fixing her eyes on the floor.

"Vanilla…?"  she called out drowsily.  "Are you awake…?"

She might have, or might not have been creeping by the door, waiting for Dia to wake up, and given how fast is her reply as she springs inside, instantly bowing respectfully, it must have been the former. "You called for me my Lady?"
