hiii bookie!

so for the roux i just knew that i 1) wanted to do a rotational let's play series 2) involve food, music and culture. so it took me a little while to really plan it out, but i was inspired by the bear television series, some of my favorite cooking shows, music, and heritage. the title is a play on the word roux, which is a base for a soup or sauce, so it basically represents the melting pot (my mind was on gumbo😭) of all of the individual characters and stories! it definitely is a passion project that's developed into something really cool over time.

my number one piece of advice for anyone starting out is to just start! don't try to be perfect, creating content especially for sims should be fun and carefree! and the sooner you start, the sooner you can improve in different ways if that's what you're aiming to do. but i always will say create what makes your heart full, unique to you, and everything else will follow!
