Who else could she be, Yellow normally was very easy to distinguish from others but then again maybe the other just new a Pearl that was also yellow and just looked at her color. Nothing to worry about, normally she would not put up with things like this but Yellow was in quite a good mood today, so she decided to help.

What was she doing here? How did she get here? As she scratched her face with a very distinct anime sweat drop running down her temple.

Okay. Try not to freak-out! Seemed she had stepped on a warp-pad thinking it would be a nice place to take a nap. How she was mistaken. Apparently just thinking of home would send her to home world! 

Just – act natural, like you have been here your whole life. As she awkwardly bowed to her, a bit in a mechanical motion. The quicker she introduced herself, the quicker she could find a way back to earth. 

“ Oh .. oh yes, yellow… pearl? We were in the middle of hide and go seek and y’know – darnest thing I can’t seem to find them. Though I’m sure I will. I’ll just get back to that! You get back to whatever you were doing.” Starting to walk away with her nerves-wracked with a polite wave.

💥 Try to calm my muse during an overwhelming emotional moment

“No!  Get away from me!”  Black Star cried, taking several steps away from the approaching gem.  “Don’t get any closer!”  Shouted the runt at Morganite.

“ - all will be well. Look!” Begins to back track so that she is at a reasonable distance but still about to talk - er- shout at her. “ I’m about a ten foot radius from you, you see? Not like I have extender arms or noodley limbs. I did exactly what you said! See? Makes me a good human - er-- ... gem .. thing.” On cue Morganite made a derp face. Still don’t know how to define herself other than a hybrid gem. 

It felt like static, everything around her felt like it wasn’t really there. That there were colors and shapes around her form but she couldn’t make them out. The thoughts that infected her mind only spread and dig deeper into the depths of her mind. She felt like she was cracked, that there was something wrong with her, but regardless of how many times she checked her own gem, it was still the same, still Sickeningly Perfect. 

Everything had to be perfect because that’s what she was, a perfect cut, a perfect color. The standards of what she Should have been still lingered in the back of her mind no matter how many times the Diamonds and Steven would repeat that she was more than just what she was programmed to be. The gem had heard of ‘heartbreak’ and the lingering stares of those who had seen her made her feel like her heart was breaking even more than it already had been. Shattering the shards of something she tried to piece together. It was All Wrong.

When the other touched her, it became so much worse. Spinel’s eyes glossing over with a distant look as tears streamed down the side of her face, she let out a horrid scream. Grabbing onto her own gem as if she was protecting it, holding herself, she screamed as she was embraced. After a moment the shouting would stop and a fist would attempt to collide into the other. Everything felt like it was coming back, but it was fractured. Being brought somewhere, somewhere she didn’t know made the gem panic. With her eyes snapping over she looked at the other with Hatred, Anger, Fear, and Sadness pooling in the tears that made her eyes seem glossy and shine in the light that reflected off them.

In middle of her affirmation session, her voice lowered to then slowly decrease to a silent questioning; uncertain what she had done wrong. Had -- had she caused this? Did she personally cause the dominos to fall down in one’s mind even more? The others action may have even scared her back into a firm and tight stature. 

Not cause she was afraid of her but, she truly believed she was the cause. Had she connected the dots sooner maybe she wouldn’t have rushed her to this spot with so much physical contact. 

Stricken with a more wary tone, she tried to speak out only calmly. She hoped the fragments of her own fear weren’t showing. Her smile was struggling to be soft. Just explain slowly. One step at a time. Don’t rush into things. 

“ ... You are near the cove. I thought bringing you here might bring some clarity. Since it’s more hidden. I’m ... “ She clenched her hands more with more struggle. “ I’m Morganite. I didn’t mean any harm.” That’s when she broke through her own barrier and took another leap.
