Submit A Memory
To submit anonymously, use the ask page! Memories to be shared, large or small, short or long, should be beautiful, positive things for readers to hold for a while, either in place of memories they would rather not have, or for simple pleasure. Describe your memory in as much detail as you like. Involve the senses!
Submissions may be slightly edited for readability (paragraph breaks, etc.) and for unintentional questionable language. Don’t feel like you can’t submit if you “aren’t a good writer” or if English is not your first language (or second, or third)! There is no need for perfection here! It is not the writing that makes a memory valuable. It is the heart of the memory itself. It is you. Bonus points for adding a disclaimer at the beginning offering the memory for sharing, and one at the end stating in your own words that the memory is free to take, and that while the reader’s memory is waiting if they want or need it back, they may always return to this moment. Submissions that are sexual in nature will not be published. The Memory Exchange and its contents, including submissions, are released under a Creative Commons 4.0 Attribution/Noncommercial/Sharealike license. By submitting a memory, you are agreeing to its release under this open license for all to see and use however they need.
