Stop 1.5 - Toledo Spread + Travel Trivia 💭✨(from listening to too many audioguides)

I don’t think this is regarded as fact, but it’s a pretty interesting story nonetheless.

The engineer responsible for the construction of Puente de San Martin realized that he had gravely miscalculated the weight that the bridge could bear. After confiding in his wife, she set fire to the beams of the bridge during a heavy thunderstorm, so no one thought too much of it the day after. The engineer was saved from total humiliation and got another chance to build the bridge with the correct calculations.

I had a pretty productive Sunday! Worked on my history IA, and did some revision for history and literature🌼I just went out for dinner and did grocery shopping with my fam, and I’m heading back home now😋
