You guys are so sweet for asking my honest opinions about cartoons and stuff but as I’m working in the industry now it would probably be better to not disclose!

If I don’t like a cartoon I still gotta show respect for future colleagues and keep the reasons I’m not a fan of their work to myself. I’m pretty iffy on even making fan comics now since I never know who I’ll be working next to, haha.

I honestly WISH I could share only positives sometimes but this stuff gets complicated, like “I wrote my own pilot with the same themes before a show even came out so even though I love this show dearly it hurts to talk about now because my work will always be called a knockoff” kind of complicated.

I’ll definitely keep posting positives and talking about my favorite content! But asking me how I REALLY feel about some things? Whoof, you guys don’t want to go down that rabbit hole. I don’t want to either, to be honest. I can’t help having negative feelings about things but they also absolutely bleed out onto my opinions/conversations sometimes. I’m not about that on this blog.
