She offers a smile, holstering her wands into her dress’ belt, and followed along as he walked. She wasn’t really sure exactly were to start looking for the mine, beyond that it was somewhere ahead of them. 

As they started to walk Dimitri just realized something and stopped. Pointing at the path they where going he said, “Sorry. I am going that way because that is where we where thrown into the direction of. Is that okay with you? I just wanted to make sure if we where on the same page.” Dimitri never been in partnered group thing before. So he just wanted to make sure he is doing this right.

Rose paused, turning to look at him. He was being quite, overly conscientious about a direction. Or perhaps she was just unused to extreme politeness when it wasn’t slathered thick with patronization.

“I would have suggested a different direction if it wasn’t okay, not that we have many to choose from. This one’s perfectly fine.” She says dully. Well, she can’t fault him for trying to be Kind , she supposes.

“Okay..?” She blinks at the very specific instance of his inability to use his semblance.  Was it something particularly destructive, to others or himself, or was it just useless? she couldn’t guess. and honestly sitting around and pondering it wouldn’t exactly solve anything.

“Well in any case, It’s nice to meet you. If all goes well my semblance will carry us the win.” Though that will be quite hopeful. the goal of ‘find the mine in one piece with my partner’ was slightly too vague, she would assume. “In any case, shall we proceed?” 

“Oh.“ Dimitri could feel a bit of what he assumed was her doubt and assured her that he wasn’t too useless. Flustered a bit he said, “But don’t worry. I know the fighting style known as, capoeira, and I am good at using my weapon the kusarigama. So know that my main way of attacking is close combat. So you don’t have to worry in doing all the work. We are partners after all.“ Soon he started to walk slowly for her to know that he was ready to do there mission. “Yes. Lets go.”

God she hopes ‘How do land on the forest ground relatively unscathed utilizing what tools I have’ is specific enough to satisfy her semblance. 

Loading her wands with gravity dust, she braced herself for being chucked wildly into the air. once up, she shot short blasts to maintain a safe, moderate decent. It was tiring, but it was preferable to hoping gravity will be merciful.
