Idiots to friends, etc.
Dare I say the best casting Netflix has ever done.

I just finished "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and immediately went on tmbr to look for some metas, as one does, but for some reason almost no one mentions my favorite part of Buffy/Spike dynamic. This quote:
I feel like this is the most important part of Spike's character. Everyone knows that he's a loverboy, but damn! Usually loverboys want her to be theirs, but not Spike! He's a knight, a poet.
William is shown as not particularly masculine person. He's sensitive, he has some deep mommy issues, but
Anyway, his wish to be hers, not the over way around, is, I think, the reason Spike is such a fan favorite. Sadly, it's rare to see characters written like this
Arwen's incantation against NazgĂťl THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING 2001 â dir. Peter Jackson
Delirium [imitating Dream's voice]: "When you are not being sCaRy"
THE SANDMAN 2.05: The Song of Orpheus.
not a moment of peace for a prince...

South of Midnight (2025)
âMust have reliable transportationâ =Â âthis is how we legally discriminate against poor people who take the busâ
As someone who has held several management positions with hiring responsibility, this is true. The boss at my last job informed me before I conducted my very first I interview,
âYou canât outright ask someone if they have a car or have kids. Thatâs technically illegal. But you need to know because sometimes they can be deal breakers. You can just say âDo you have reliable transportation?â and âDo you have any current circumstances that could impede you from being successful at work?â
To which the last one most people fumble and would say, âWell I have kids, so sometimes they could get sick. But thatâs not often.â But then your potential employer could mark it down on your interview notes nonetheless.
I thought that maybe it was just my own employer. But now I noticed that I am asked both of these almost every time I interview for a job.
Language is very sneaky. Be careful how you answer. Corporations can be snakes.
In my businesses class my professor told us that the bus counts as reliable transportation. You do not legally have to say âI take the busâ just say âyes I do have reliable transportationâ and leave it at that. Do not over share. DO NOT OVER SHARE. The second question just say no. If your kids are sick call out as if you are sick. I donât have kids but I myself can get sick and that doesnât hinder my ability to succeed so kids getting sick shouldnât hinder you. When I call out I give as little info as possible. No one needs to know why you call out. They canât ask about your âillnessâ because it violates HIPAA if they do. So as long as you donât offer more info than you need to you should be okay.
Jfc that kitty parade music justmakes it hilarious
I canât believe this is an actual event that has taken place.
with the music that might actually be the most surreal thing iâve ever watched
You're the one, Buffy. I don't want to be the one.
