* -- He knew that she was probably not thinking he was as creepy anymore, and to be honest, it was nice to have someone to talk to, even if they had just met, someone else that wasn't his brother. He knew how she felt though, somewhat, there were a lot of things to be scared of when one was traveling alone.  "Yeah, I don't think they look like fire or anything, and fire-- I've had my fair share of that. " he spoke back.

* -- The sun was out, but it looked like it was about to rain. It was a shame, he was enjoying how hot it was, but then again, rain was good too. He liked the way if felt on his skin. But maybe perhaps he shouldn't have been laying so openly, his tail in the water while he layed himself on the said. It was nice, no one was here, not when they saw how cloudy the skies were. A sigh left him, this was nice. The merman barely registered the footsteps of another approaching him. 

* --    Shit. This wasn't good. He knew it wasn't good. If the blood got any more into the water, he was sure he would have sharks on his ass, and he couldn't really go anywhere else. His arms were shredded, his back was no different and his head hurt. God sometimes his friends were real dicks. Starting a fight like that, it wasn't his fault this time. All he needed to do was breathe. The beach wasn't that far away, he could rest there. Sharks didn't go that far to shore, and Adrian knew it was safe this time of day, no one would be out.  Finally being able to rest, the water turning red around him, he just tried to stick it out, hoping maybe someone would come for him, and that just made him laugh. No one would come to his rescue, and even if they did, they wouldn't help him. 

She ran up to him and said, “It is freezing out here! Why are you in the water?”

* -- That caused him to laugh, keeping that smile on his face as he watched the strangers confusion and shock as she asked him why he was in the water. "Well I don't know if you noticed, but I can't exactly go inside like you can." he nodded, looking to her once more. It was chilly, but he was used to it, warmer inside the water, but he liked the feel of the air once in a while, made him forget things.         "Why are you out if you deem it to be cold?" Adrian spoke up, raising a brow, more of being a tease.
