in the best of times it was often sort of like an erastes/eromenos type situation where ppl saw me as both an object of physical desire AND as something to be educated and cared for. i question sometimes how "traumatizing" (dumb word to use) any of that really was for me, because i honestly was pretty down with it at the time i felt like i actually really liked it, but then again I'm still talking about it as a grown individual and i still feel like i'm in the shadow of it sometimes. that's pretty bad right?
