Larkin Ode of the Coliseum: If you know anything about the sport of Gladiating or have been in the vicinity of the Ul’dah Coliseum, you’ll know Larkin Ode’s name even if just from a whisper. After fighting for her freedom as a young Miqo’te, she’s made a return to the sport in a major way and gained acclaim around the city of Ul’dah for her hot streak of success - Maybe you’ve even been lucky enough to see her fight!
Honor & Justice: Before she was a Gladiator, Larkin served as a Sultansworn. She was your stereotypical Woman of the Law, never one to break a rule or push a boundary (Though those days are long gone). If you’re familiar with the Sultansworn, you might’ve encountered Larkin somewhere along the way before she discharged herself to go back to fighting. In fact, she may have even tried to arrest you before.
A Fight for Freedom: Lark, having been born in captivity, spends a large majority of her down time searching and freeing or buying slaves from their current situation. She’d do anything if it meant liberating a life, and won’t stop until she can do so - Even if it takes her everything. She’s often traveling because of this cause, and has a group of people working for her that aid in this cause.
Tradition to Honor: Having grown up in less than ideal circumstances, Larkin built herself a network of freed and escaped captives who’d been through similar times, ranging from friends of her own Estate to other strays who needed solace. Once a year, she gathers all of those people together and holds a one-day long festival filled with drinking and singing, and will never turn a hand away who’d like to attend.
