[ Locke stirs, head pounding something horrible and their eyes seemingly unfocused. The surrounding area darkened, ground beneath their palms cold and the metal nails of tracks jab into her palms. ]
[ Looking up, Locke sees herself at a crossroads. ]
What in god's name...
//: From behind a figure emerges from the darkness, tilting its head as it watches the young lady move. ://
//: When it speaks its voice is smooth, but chilling to the bone, ://
"Ahh, it's been a while since I've had..."
"Ahem,"
"Proper Company, do pick yourself up have a look around. "
[ She jolts, eyes widening as she whips around. ]
Who are you!?
[ She pats her person, taking the switchblade from her pocket and brandishes it as he brings herself to her feet. ]
//: Its eyes fix on the edge of the blade, grin growing wider. ://
"Oh, sweetheart. Relax yourself, please."
//: Its hand would settle on her wrist, pushing the knife down. ://
"I'm a friend, here to help. I can get you out of here, which I think we both agree would be, hmm."
//: It nods it's head, expression feigning agreement ://
"Preferable?"
[ She would pause, fiddle now in other hand. Which she just sets down, retracting her hand. ]
Alright, and you help me how? The way I see it I just walk myself down one of the two paths ahead of me and, well...
[ She nods towards the right path. ]
I think I'd like to go that way.
//: It tracks their gaze, sighing. ://
"Sure are quick to move... Alright. I suppose since you are a shut in."
//: It turns its gaze away to the two railways that sit before its visitor. ://
"Right, huh? Well, if you're looking to go back where you started you won't find what you're looking for."
"Then again, left won't take you anywhere near there either. However I get the feeling that your type wouldn't want to go that way. So,"
//: It claps its hands. ://
"If you like I could get you home and you can skip this set back, but in return I can call on you for a favor. Any favor of my choosing."
"Orrr, you could... take the right path, but I still ask you at least take my card. Just in case what you find pleases you and if you ever feel the need, you can call me up."
[ She would pause, brow furrowing. Her gaze flits towards this stranger and the diverging pathways ahead. ]
[ She could just go home... However, the sense of something greater reels her in, the urge to see what lies beyond the darkened horizon. Earn a way back rather than just be given it. Locke holds their hand out. ]
Your card then..? Not that I do not think I'll need it, but all things considered I am not terribly keen on taking a deal from a stranger in a suit.
//: Almost as if it was anticipating such an answer, the card appears between to fingers. Six looks Locke in the eye and holds that gaze as the card is set into her palm. ://
"If you're so certain then. Have fun, Cynthia. I'm sure we'll meet again."
//: They lean back, muttering something under its breath before it vanishes. ://
[ She would blink, holding the card in her hand before tapping it into her pocket. She walks down the tracks, headed right and on through the darkness. ]
