Residing in sunny Southern California, we're a bit spoiled with the fabulous weather that has us feeling like we're living in an endless summer. With that being said, we're constantly on the search for tips and tricks to keep us #skinnybikinibody ready! Los Angeles seems to be a place exploding with a plethora of a variety of workout regimes from cardio barre, pop physique, crossfit and more - we can hardly keep up. If anything, this city has us motivated to look and feel our best because let's face it, losing a few pounds can be great but reaching a well-rounded diet and fitness goal is even better! We've been to our fair share of the hottest workout classes but there are two that we are sure to stick to this year! Both regimes are designed specifically to target those "problem areas" for women while uplifting your mind, energy and soul.

Rockin' Models 

Rockin' Models by celebrity fitness trainer, Grace Lazenby, has to be one of the most empowering of workouts we've been to. With this 65 minute workout that melds a bit of yoga, barre conditioning and burlesque; you're sure to be leaving feeling lean and strong! 

Cardio Barré Santa Monica 

Have you seen Beyoncé's thighs lately!? If you're wondering just exactly how she keeps that wonderful dancer shape but still keeps true to her womanly curves, check out Cardio Barré. This high energy, no impact workout that will have you doing some major leg extensions and light weights while ensuring continual fat burning throughout the session. Make sure to check out the class at the Santa Monica studio where your sure to find instructors that will keep you pushing and feeling great!

With summer behind us and winter looming, it’s a great time to reflect on the past season and our accomplished endeavours this year! Last month, we attended the annual Lipstick Sister Anniversary event to celebrate the sisterhood of women with enough entrepreneurial spirit to make Donald Trump quiver! To give you a bit of background on Lipstick Sister, the Beverly Hills based group with an active community that reaches across the country, brings together women from all fields in hopes of providing a platform for networking, lasting connections and new found opportunity. Their second anniversary was held at the ultra chic Riviera 31 space in the Sofitel Hotel in West Hollywood, CA with more than 150 guest in attendance. Guests arrived in head to toe white on the pink carpet to have their photo snapped by Paparazzi Girl Megan and proceeded into the space where large floral arrangements and an all white decor made for a luxe setting. The gathering was a momenteous event for Skinny Bikini as our Founder/Designer, Aida Takyrbasheva, as she was honored with the ‘Lipstick Sister of the Year’ award presented by Lipstick Sister president, Hensi Morris. In addition, our partner Kelly Mi Li was recognized as Lipstick Sister of the Month! We celebrated the night away dancing to tunes provided by LS member Sandra, aka DJ Splash! This event reminded us how great of a year it has been and how thankful we are for all those who have helped make it possible!
