Haste Makes Waste

Honestly very distraught and drained with the state of the world this year. The events that have occurred in Las Vegas are an atrocity to humanity. No one deserves to suffer that way and lose their life, family, friends, and loved ones. I just read a survivor’s account and interview of one of my friend’s friend who endured the ordeal and was rushed to the ER. I have family in Las Vegas who have lost and are still missing people they grew up with, friends, co-workers, and more. Seeing this breaks my heart. This part year alone, I lost 5 of some of my close friends. I emphasize for anyone who has suffered or lost anyone in this tragedy. It hits so much at home for me. Recently as well, just about a month ago, one of my good friends and his uncle who he was staying with got evicted from his place in San Jose. He’s been there for me in tough times, and I feel so helpless and guilty because I wanted to help him. I’m honestly worried sick because he lost his car (totaled), his job, and also his friends and family (including his 3 year old daughter) hasn’t heard from him for about a month as well. I tried to contact him to try and help find an emergency solution for him to no avail, as his phone was now disconnected. I hope you’re okay and safe out there, Zachary. I really don’t want to lose anymore friends this year. :(
