New album details.  New life details… Friends.. its been some time since I’ve weighed in on the pages..  So I though you might like a little life update of sorts.     I honestly though this project, this band, whatever it is… was dead and done.  For years now, I’ve been completely immersed in very different music projects, and the struggle and beauty of life and raising a family…  And mostly just trying to find a way forward without having to get a job selling crap I don’t believe in. But for a while there, I began to think all this pop music of mine was just pointless and frivolous.  And honestly, some days it kind of is.  But lately I’ve come to think that  I need quite a bit more frivolity in my days, in my life.  So, I started up the pop song engines again and began to put pen to paper.  It was glorious to get back into the groove.  I know this is the thing all artists say, but I think for the first time in my life I really believe every word I’m singing . That’s the thing I just can’t shake about pop music.. one gets to house their deepest and darkest sentiments in a little candy-wrapper of a song.  It’s just so mischievous and delightful.  I couldn’t stay away. So… The first song coming October 14th is entitled ‘Truly. Modern. Love’.  It is the title track of the record, due out in February next year.  It’s a scathing commentary on our current culture of dating and romance and digital insanity.  I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it makes you think a little.  Or not.   Peace.
