Ever since I was 5 I knew I wanted to be an actress, after my very first acting class (shout out to the Cleveland Playhouse and Karamu) I was hooked. I tell everybody and will tell everybody that because I was always so proud of that, knowing exactly what I wanted so young and being so sure of it. My entire life acting was the one constant, I thought about theatre or being in movies and tv shows every day 24/7. Acting had made my life and saved my life several times too and if you had told 10 year old me that I’d be on a tv show now she would absolutely believe you. Whenever I felt shitty I’d escape to my happy place where I’d daydream about me now right now. It’s happening and it’s real. It just occurred to me while typing this that I made it to my happy place. I finally made it! Little Krystal we did it!! I don’t want to call myself lucky because that implies that there’s a chance that this wouldn’t or couldn’t have happened but baybeee let me tell you that’s not possible! IT WAS ALWAYS ME! I’m so incredibly proud of myself! I finally got the job I wanted, working with the people I wanted and needed. GRATITUDE IMMENSE GRATITUDE. Confession: I cried almost every day filming because I was so happy to be on set. I finally got what I wanted and finally I get to tell you our show Welcome to Flatch premieres on Fox and Hulu March 17th.
