To the future people in my life
To the future people in my life
Well hello there, from the 2015 me.
First off, to the Future Colleagues, I must admit I may not be the best choice in my chosen field but I am willing to learn and adapt to changes. You might get annoyed at me for constantly asking you for feedbacks, but that’s just the typical ‘unconfident’ me. I know it’s not very pleasing at all but this 2015, I swore to become a better version of myself. So hopefully by the time we meet in the future, I am pretty much more confident in my works already. But I could really use some help too, if you don’t mind.
To my future friends, hello! I’m glad that you’re now a part of my life. I really do value friendship as much as I value my favorite food. Meaning, friendship matters to me A LOT. So I must’ve seen something special in you that I consider you as one of my life’s greatest treasures. I wish you could all meet my old friends, they’re the bomb. It was never a dull moment with them, and I’m sure the same goes for you. Thank you for keeping up with all my life’s dramas. Thank you for just being there. For being that friend.
To my best friend @woorara (bc I know we’d still be best friends in the future) I can’t wait to see the future version of ourselves. I wonder if we’re still crazy over our KPOP boys. Then if we still are, I certainly hope that we could go to idol concerts together and get ourselves VIP tickets without having to worry financially. LOL
To my future partner, well I certainly hope you do exist. That you’re not just a part of my fickle imagination. The 2015 version of me fears that I might not be able to get the chance to meet you, but I keep on praying that someday, I’ll do. I hope you won’t just be my partner… I pray that you’ll also be my best friend, someone I could talk to for hours and someone who’d support me and my dreams in life. Rest assured, I’d do the same too. I can’t wait to meet you!
To my future child/children, isn’t it nice thinking that someday I’ll hold you in my arms, cuddle you at night, change your diapers, feed you and give you all the best things the world has to offer. The mere thought of having you in the future is kind of exciting. But I’m sure you can wait. The 2015 me isn’t ready to have you just yet. Maybe a couple more years to go. Say 8? Or maybe 10? I still have to prepare a lot of stuff for us, because I wanted you to live a happy and comfortable life.
To the future strangers I’m going to bump into every day, I hope we still get to enjoy a lot of things this world can offer in the future. Let’s not abuse it. I hope that in the future, we will all be able to unite as one in saving this world we’re living in.
