The beast stood tall upon its thin posts, dark eyes alert and ever watchful of its surroundings. Ears twitching, following every new sound. It was cautious, but it's many years here had made it far less fearful. The creature, seeming content with its observations, turned and disappeared into the shadows of the wood.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Back in 2011 I went to college and had several roommates and wanted desperately to befriend one of them. Skyrim releases and she mentions liking the Elder Scrolls. Being 18 and having very little sense I took the little money I had to Wal-mart and bought an x-box 360 and the game.

I said nothing and started playing just waiting to be noticed. I was then roasted for playing in 3rd person.

14 years and 1 marriage certificate later I think I succeeded in befriending her.
