if you’ve been here since the beginning or at least since 300 you’ll know that i already used this scene for one of these lmao. but !! 750+ is kind of a big number for a game blog?? even when, to this day, i’m still learning that not everyone knows who nathan drake is, nor what uncharted is – or that some only know him as an iconic character, but nothing more. and i know several of you have told me that you have little to no knowledge of the series or his character, but you’re continuing to stick around? and i hope that you’re growing to love him and the series in itself because of that —— which again, is something i’ve been told by a handful of you, and that honestly means so much to me. as always, thank you for the continuous support of me and this blog - i wouldn’t have been able to make it this long ( almost a year, come may!! ) without it, or without you. ♥

you have no idea how it can manifest into their writing experience.

for me, it’s spontaneously deleting random threads just because i didn’t like the way my response ‘felt’. it’s deleting a word and retyping one that sounds worse just because the last one triggered a negative thought that spiraled out of control. it’s deleting entire blogs one day after making them because it feels suffocating. it’s remaking a pinterest not because you want to but because you feel like something horrible is going to happen if you don’t. it’s compulsively clearing things out all. the. time. unfollowing people who haven’t been inactive that long just because you’re freaking out about following too many. it’s spending hours resharpening icons that looked fine before, just because something in your stomach feels really, really sick. it’s redoing tags monday, then wednesday, then friday all over again because something’s still wrong but you just don’t know what. it’s knowing that you feel ridiculous, that what you’re doing feels ridiculous, but having to do it anyway. it’s not a choice.

here we are again ! another milestone, another moment of utter surprise that somehow, my treasure hunting little convict here has gathered so many lovely people to my blog. i say this each time i make one of these, but i’m honestly astounded, and i’m so so so so very grateful for the support i’ve gotten over my ( almost ) year here. sam means a lot to me and it makes me happy to see interest in him from others as well ! you’ve all been such wonderful additions to my dash, so incredibly fun to interact with, and even though i haven’t been able to form friendships with everyone ( yet ) those i have, you’re an immense joy to talk to. thank you so much for being with me on this journey !    (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧
