From there to here. A few years ago I found myself at a creative crossroads: my skill level did not match my aspirations. I yearned for forges and fire but every attempt to teach myself, as i'd done with so many things before, met with failure. So i paused, not stopped just paused, knowing that eventually an opportunity to learn would present itself. In came @metahtt in 2022 with an intro to metalsmithing course. A course so comprehensive and well delivered that, although we work in different mediums (her fine silver, me brass), provided a solid foundation on which i could climb toward my aspirations. I finally understand forges..and fire, and I want to not only recommend this course to anyone with an interest in working metal but also thank her for choosing to share and teach.
