With that she turned as swept out of the cabin, closing the door carefully behind her. She sought out Mr. Smee first, quietly informing him that the captain was not feeling well at the moment. Then she went to the rear of the ship, staring out over the water until she spotted the croc in the ship's wake.

He didn't really expect her to actually GO OUT and INTO the water to rid them of the croc, but when he heard the splash, he jumped up from his face-down position, for a moment TERRIFIED that the croc had managed to jump up onto the ship.

Hook scrambled back into the nook of his bed, throwing the blanket up and over himself and wrapping himself up tight in it.

There came a shout from Mr. Smee as he realized what had just happened, followed by his hurried steps as he ran to the railing. Save for the waves and the wake of the ship, everything was still where Hope had dived. Only a spot of brilliant orange showed where she lurked beneath the surface. Magic had its uses, especially when it came to adapting to a new environment. It would be far more painful, later on, to shift again and rid herself of the gills now hidden along her torso and neck, to readjust to breathing air again. But... she wasn't really thinking about that right now, though. All she was focused on was that stubborn crocodile. Or, in this one's case, she thought Clockodile suited it better.
