Smart people are rarely happy.

That is a very complicated question, because fear is so ever-changing and circumstantial. The easy answer is ‘failure’, though that’s not quite accurate. Perhaps it would be better to say I am afraid of the moment I discover something even my mind cannot fathom. Will that ever happen? Maybe not, but the thought of it terrifies me.

There is always so much going on in my mind that pinpointing a certain image or scenario is difficult. I would say I imagine someone with their mouth on my neck, but then somewhere in my head, the Fibonacci Sequence is being recited. Or hands running across exposed skin, but there’s a symphony being analyzed.

I’m a decently attractive, adult man who lives trapped with surrounded by others close to my own age, who are all powerful and frequently bored. Do I really need to answer this question for you?

I’m answering this based on only looks, with no explanation given. If I made a list based on personality and intelligence levels, there would be several who feel insulted.

Does mediocre healing count as an unexpected perk?

Any sort of healing change, with your power, is fascinating. I’d definitely consider it unexpected. Maybe not a perk though.

“Probably?” She covered her mouth as a light laugh escaped her lips. Finally composing herself, she shook her head. “You’re stance is all wrong.” She stepped forward. Placing her hands on his shoulders, she gently tapped his leg with her foot too move it a little father away from the other. Then she took a step back. “Keep your feet like that, and raise your arms higher.”

It was weird letting this tiny girl adjust his body position, but at her last words, he laughed, “Raise them higher? Your first hit was to my stomach, so shouldn’t I be blocking lower?”

Love isn’t for the practical minded.  You meet the right person, and suddenly you become the biggest idiot on the planet when it comes to them.

I don’t think I know the feeling. Or maybe I’m just incapable of this idiot-mindedness that you speak of.
