monsters-of-the-new-worldâ:
Rathalos let loose a roar again, and spun in place, using his large wings and tail to smack the Hell Prides away from him, and began blasting them with fire once he stopped. Any of them that tried getting close ended up getting his talons raking over them, damaging and poisoning them due to the venomous glands in his talons. His tail also helped keep them off his backside, thwacking them with the thick end part, which also had sharp spikes on it.
Looking back towards his human ally, Rathalos would fire a blast at one of the things that tried to attack Dante from behind, showing him that the wyvern had his back.
Dante, being way too caught up in having his own personal âfunâ with his enemies as he slaughtered and maimed them all, and once his living âsurfing boardâ was ground down to nothing but paste and ashes, heâd step off of it, a fiery explosion lighting up behind him as Rathalosâ fire blast connected with one of the monsters sneaking up at him, incinerating it on the spot.
âWhoah, hey! Watch where you spit that blaze of yours, buddy!â Dante calls back as he pats down his coat, shaking off any ashes clinging onto it. Right at that moment, however, a dozen or so of the Hell Prides emerged from all around Dante, warping in through black portals, as they all stabbed and sunk their scythes into Danteâs body, impaling him all over. However, to their surprise... Dante just smirks.
âTch. Câmon now, I thought you guys knew better!â and after that taunt, surprisingly not even sounding winded from being turned into a human pin-cushion, he grabs one of the Hell Prides by the head, crushing its skull like nothing. Grabbing the scythe it held, heâd yank the blade out of his body and spin it around himself, severing Hell Prides and scythe-handles alike, the blades still sticking out of his body like some gruesome body-piercings. Surprisingly, he even used these to his advantage as he began to go full-on hand-to-hand with the monsters, punching and kicking at them as each impact served to impale the demons with their own blades, and allowing Dante to let them rip out of his body. If Rathalos was able to perceive Danteâs body clear enough, heâd notice that the humanâs flesh was rapidly regenerating the holes in his body once the blades were removed.
He was clearly not a meager human.
