intro post!
hello all! i'm matpi! you can call me matpi, mat, or whatever other cool nickname you can come up with. i'm 22 years old and my pronouns are they/them!
here are a few of my interests! if any of these appeal to you, please reach out i love having people to talk about things with!!
hibike! euphonium! i'm a huge band kid and have been playing percussion for over a decade now! hibike euphonium played a huge part in my development as a musician and person. i love this show with my whole heart!
bandori! my favs are roselia and mygo, but i love them all so much! the music is also banging!
love live! setsuna, kanon, and you are my favs but i'm also a huge fan of aqours and liella overall, especially their music
music! aside from what i listed above, i listen to a big variety of music and can get down to pretty much anything, but for a few of my favorite artists, i love linkin park, coldplay, twenty one pilots, and shinedown. i'm also a fan of orchestral and especially wind ensemble music! i also play drum set as well as concert percussion as mentioned above, but i also dabble in piano, bass, vocals, and guitar!
arranging music! i've been on a kick of arranging love live and bandori songs for large ensembles like symphony orchestras and wind ensemble. i use musescore and i have my finished arrangements on my account (link below)! my current projects include a wind band arrangement of Starlight Prologue that i'll try to get performed by my university band, and a symphony orchestra arrangement of Neo Sky Neo Map!
