This is going to sound obvious and maybe even a little confusing given what I’ve posted before, but MAN art is hard with neurodivergency. Like, I’ve got really good ideas only like 2% of the time, the rest of which is just me overthinking and being anxious about what I’ve not done or how big tasks actually are.
That’s not to say I’m stopping or slowing down, just been stuck on sketching this one pose for like 2 days and it is EVER SO difficult to figure out, especially with me not knowing how to draw anatomy or perspective.

Got a Red Dead Confectionery design for Ragatha that I’m not to sure on (were corsets still a 1910’s thing?) and don’t know how to do guns so she has some kind of Luger.
Also period-accurate Maid Jax, because I thought it’d be funny if he appeared in this candy universe stuck in this for like a month. It’d surely confuse the hell out of his followers.

A regular roaming gummy crocodile bandit.
This is heavily inspired and referenced by the works of Vashonian and Gooseworx (ofc). I’ve always loved both series and I wanted to start showing fan-arts for the series once I got my head around where to start, with the newest chapter of ‘Sherbets Gate’ having been posted earlier today I thought when better than now to try! :3

Any advice?
So iv'e been assessed and diagnosed for ASD, ADHD, Alexithymia and PDA, but I have also been yearning to become better at art and all of these things have been working against that goal.
Most sources have told me to stop putting myself in perpetual stress and allow myself to relax, but the thing is? i'm not even doing anything stressful. I just spend too long being in my head about things that i see even the slightest effort sometimes as some great threat.
so yeah, anyone with experience with PDA as an adult will say that it's a great existential and debilitating feeling never being able to accomplish tasks because of some inaccurate nervous system response, not sure why i expect to find better help here buuuuuut... well, it's semi related to art.
any guide or attempt to freehand sketch has me scared of failure and anything i have managed to make has left me disappointed, not ideal in the slightest.
so yeah, any advice would be helpful, or even just to be heard would be alright.

Well, I'm glad I was there to experience it in the theatres because those audio effects were crazy. That's all I will say about that, though. I'd hate to spoil anything about this LOVELY finale. Now, I'm going to go through Gooseworx's QNA to see how much she may have trolled us.
I'm gonna have to keep that bucket and ticket for a long time. Hell, I imagine some day I hope to preserve them as a hallmark of Indie-Animation. For now, I'm just happy to have supported them along the way.

Louise Harley:
Louise is a shy but caring and creative seventeen year old Jackalope who recently moved away from her tight knit family in Wyoming to find real friends in the open world, beyond the borders or her reservation.
Her mother organsied so that her rabbit Grandpa Armand can house her for a fortnight, while Louise works part time at Armands’s Pc Repair store to gain more experience seeing new people through in a smaller scale.
During her time at said store, she lives in the attic at Armands house, the only place tall enough to house her given the fact the house was made for 5’0 rabbits at not 6’4 Jackalopes like Louise.
Armand tries to lead Louise on the right path socially as she begins to understand and venture into the world unknown, but he can’t know everything and her naive grasp on modern culture sure doesn’t help matters.
She only seeks to find belonging and friendship in the wondrous outside world, but finds herself unable to fit in among the masses due to her nature as a rare species. She struggles to communicate with people at the new school she is made to attend, Though not all are so kind to her, eventually Louise befriends an intimidating giant Saint Bernard named… Bernard (she thinks that is what his name is at least).
The story follows her goal in assimilating into the modern world from her sheltered upbringing and finding real lifelong friendships, while also evidently avoiding some insidious scheme behind the scenes.

Hello, thanks for giving this a browse. Here is a Character Bio of our main protagonist 'Louise'
LipeGrove will host a wide variety of different characters and situations during the course of its first main arc, more than half of which is still very much in progress.
That's not to say nothing will be posted in a while, small story increments and other bonus artwork will be uploaded as we work, so stay tuned for more details.
