And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. I haven’t been really kind to myself and to people around me these past few days. I am feeling frustrated with a lot of things and I don’t know why I am feeling the same... The preaching last Friday was very timely, with this message Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. As the Holy Spirit lead me to assess myself, i realized I haven’t been spending genuine time with the Lord. I haven’t been really communicating intimately with Him by praying and reading the bible. I have been so uneasy with a lot of stuff and with everything that’s happening in the world right now... and yeah, this verse was the answer, a very good reminder, indeed.
