George coming in late from doing research to find Lockwood and Lucy fast asleep in the weirdest places. Like, Lucy is slumped against the oven where George stores the Skull Jar on occasion, like she fell asleep talking to it, and Lockwood is on his desk. ON TOP of his desk, curled like a little oversized kitten. George just gets blankets from the linen closet and tucks them in and leaves them there bc they never sleep enough.

George always making food and having it around because he knows when they get deep into a case Lockwood will just forget to eat if it’s not right in front of him.

George cutting Lucy’s hair over the kitchen sink because she hates when it gets long but also refuses to pay someone every month or so to keep it at her preferred length.

George always patching up Lockwood’s coat after a case because it’s just IN THE WAY and ALWAYS GETS RIPPED OR BURNT OR WHATEVER but Lockwood loves it so much and gets so pouty when it gets torn. 

George making Lucy’s favorite food whenever she’s clearly shaken from being psychically linked to a particularly emotional Visitor.

George never talking about his own parents, though he loves them, because he can tell how much it pains Lockwood and Lucy.

George being an absolute shit head at times, but also taking care of his two best friends because they are sort of hopeless and also very important to him.

George being the emotionally stable, incredibly snarky Team Mom of Lockwood & Co. 

This picture has gone viral as thousands of people deliver searing indictments of both smartphones and teens.

I’ve met a couple of teens. I’ve had a couple smartphones. Could these teens be playing Angry Birds or texting stupid jokes to each other? Yeah, they could.

But they could also be googling provenance for that painting or taking a second to text a friend about how amazing the museum is or completing an assignment given off-screen by someone standing just beside the photographer. They could be taking notes about the palette choice so that later they turn into a generation of artists that take your breath away.
