New diagnosis just dropped, or rather it's an old issue that has only just been discovered. So, hello OCD, we can see you now but you are not welcome here, we will try to get you to go the way of your siblings PTSD, GAD, OSFED & MDD and enter the recovered condition.
I think 22 was a good year, and I hope 23 will be even better
Happy birthday to me
In the last year or 2 I have gone from 7 mental diagnoses down to just 3, and 2 of them I was born with. This is amazing, I never thought recovery was possible for me
I haven't seen him in so many years but I keep dreaming about him. I think I would feel much better if he was dead, if I knew he wasn't still out there and that he couldn't hurt anyone ever again.

âtime heals all woundsâ WRONG. it merely allows for infection.. it is Too late for me
I have been feeling the need for retail therapy lately but I don't really think a $60 medicated cream hits the spot
I think my heart needs some retail therapy
I remember actively trying to manipulate people when I was a kid but I was an abused child and trying to get the comfort and care I needed.
I remember holding a teadybear, dangling it by my side in a way I had seen on TV. I pitched up my voice, softened my face, widened my eyes, everything I could do to look small and cute and helpless (I was like 8), walked out there and said in a sad voice "mummy, I can't sleep" only to be yelled at and told to go back to bed. I was an insomniac and didn't get a proper night's sleep untill I was finally medicated, but as soon as I had passed the stage of a baby screaming her head off they didn't care. I did everything I could to get my parents to love me, but they just didn't.
I only remember doing it one other time. It was during a child services visit. I am not really sure what I wanted to accomplish but I was putting on an act, again I emulated kids I had seen on TV. I held a toy tightly to my chest and angled my head down so I really had too look up at them with my eyes. The affect was that they didn't really talk to me and only asked questions of my siblings.
As I remember these stories I find myself focusing on the fact that I was immatating what I had seen, copying other children in hopes to receive the responses they had gotten. Now I think that had a lot to do with the autism, I was trying so hard to be "normal"

This is the best tag I've ever received on a post, I think

I just realised that everytime I picture my corpse I see a little girl. Not the body I have now, nor any body I may have in the future, but a version of us that ranges between about 9 and 15. She always wears a beautiful puffy dress, the kind you can really twirl in, and her hair is long and by her sides with a few embelishments like braids or bows. Her coffin is adorned with flowers and stuffed animals, things to make her feel happy and safe. She looks perfect, like a life-sized doll, the ideal image of a little girl.
She looks nothing like I do now, but even when I imagine a death decade's in the future she is still the version I see. And I can't tell if I still imagine my death this way because its what I have always wanted or what I have always feared. Is it the part of me that never wanted to survive childhood? Or the part that believes no matter how much I live and grow I will end up just like her, the body of an adult with the brain of an infant.
Our fathers were the first men to screw us over
What if I remove all the broken parts of myself and find that there is nothing left behind?
I think that all I am is an amalgamation of trauma.
ânever kill yourselfâ is such a funny phrase to me that i think itâs accidently started working. its like an affrimation. say ânever kill yourselfâ enough times as a joke and maybe you wonât try to kill yourself over minor inconviences anymore
i made this image for the express purpose of this
Do you know how fucked up things have to be to make a 4 year old suicidal?

I think I am broken, cuz I know what I have to do and I keep telling myself to do it but I just don't.
2am and I are far too well acquainted
I know that I am hurting myself and making life harder for those around me, so why can't I stop?
the sad truth is that most children who are groomed are made into victims precisely because the adults around them treat them even worse than their groomer, at least at first. groomers specifically look for vulnerable children who don't have people in their lives they trust and can rely on. isolation is pretty much the number one factor these abusers look for when choosing their victims
