I desperately need help to get through Christmas!💫

Wednesday, December 15th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill disaster, who is in desperate need of help as I'm really struggling to get by, and I don't receive my welfare until just after Christmas.

As most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefit being under a review, which is due to my worsening mental health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And at the moment, I'm currently struggling to get by, as my application for Disability (PIP) was declined and I don't receive my U.C benefit until after Christmas, and all my previous donations have gone to pay off my rent and bills but I still have some outstanding bills to pay & groceries to get.

I know this is a huge ask, and I'm completely heartbroken to keep asking for help, but I still urgently need some as I don't receive my welfare until after Christmas (December 27th) and I desperately need help.

Additionally, I have a CHRISTMAS WISHLIST, some items like gift cards and blankets are essential for the winter, but I've also added a few Christmas presents that would mean a lot to me, and I would appreciate it if anyone could have a look. Otherwise, my goal is £335!!

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate or buy anything from my wishlist if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling right now. ❤

I'm really sorry to keep posting this but it's Christmas next week, and I'm still struggling to keep my utilities on and my gas meter has £4.44 left in it, and it WILL NOT last until my benefit payment on the 27th!!

If anyone could spare anything at all to help, even if it’s just a £1/$1 or a reblog, it would mean so much to me. Take care ❤

- the ask/inbox system

- ability to make likes/following lists private

- ability to reblog posts multiple times

- the "Keep Reading" feature

- ability to easily post different media. AFAIK Tumblr is the only social media site that lets you post audio without it being a video.

That's both why it has continued to have active avid users in spite of a lot of technical /policy issues, and why it hasn't been massively profitable.
