Wuckwich a day makes you a Legend

FUNCH FESTIVAL SPECIAL

It’s The Final Funch Time - Possibly the longest running exhibition ever.

Since 2013 Summerhall’s Ryoko Tamura  has presented a new FUNCH drawing every day. This Festival, is its final show.

This is Paw Paw the polar bear off to work he goes.

Paw paw has a weakness for Scotch eggs, Pork pies and Sausage rolls. Koko, his Ninja wife, provides him with a healthy Funch everyday - a Fantastic lunch, which includes the Wuckwhich - Wonderful sandwich, and a piece of fruit (although Paw Paw still secretly eats a sausage and bacon double-er at the Summerhall cafe every morning… maybe you can spot him…). With the Wuchwhich, Koko also provides him with a drawing of the day.

For the 2016 Festival finale Funch, Koko and Paw Paw are on a journey with Summerhall’s resident artists. Those includes, animators, photographers, graphic designers, film makers and our own Summerhall Visual Arts team.

They have asked each collaborating artist to share their favourite drawing especially for Funch. Each day, they will be visiting different backgrounds of the art world. Please see the board for artist of the day.
