The sun fades the sky turns pink, the volcano of San Vicente El Salvador.
True El Salvador has some beautiful places. I’m so happy I got to experience this.
The next few post will be more story like with more photos telling the story.
This experience has taught me a lot and sparked my love for photography again. There are time where I’m in a rut. New places break it out for me.

My roots are from El Salvador, and that’s where I went.
Mountain ranges from the local restaurant, wow!
It took 20 years for me to go back. Things have definitely changed. The beauty of this I really got to appreciate.
Winter surfing is one of the best ways to be in nature. 2020 has really sparked a lot for many people. Surfing sparked me as well.
I took this off the coast of New Hampshire. We gear up for cold day but for an amazing ride. That’s the beauty, all you need is one solid ride and it totally changes your day.
I’ve been doing a little surf photography and I have to say it’s quite captivating. Action shots with my landscape photography knowledge, it makes photo taking more interesting.
I enjoy the waves and the complete relaxation that comes with it.
The ocean has taught so much, and still continues to. It’s going to be the one year after my relationship ended. It still hurts, but it’s ok because I know I’m capable of loving so deeply.
Giving that to someone, I took this year to give it to myself. Self love. At first glance it was very hard. But time and reps really helped changes the way I think. Validating myself and being there for me.
I’m a romantic, I love “love.” But it’s a lot more complicated and work than what the word entails. And yes I would gladly do it all over again for someone that comes into my life.
There are so many kinds of love, and it’s beautiful man.
During that year of reflection from the break up, the ocean was there for me and helped heal me in so many ways. I’m eternally grateful for it.
The older we get we can still care for something.
A treat to see the Northern Lights over Massachusetts

Fall in Massachusetts is quite the experience.
Last year’s fall was, in my opinion, such a vibrant one. I took this from the Crane’s Estate grounds, crazy how someone owned that piece of land.
Photography can be a lot, at times. It’s been months since I used my camera. As I’m trying to keep up with all aspects of my life, it’s the one thing that is by my side. Being off most of the social media, has been healing. Being present with family and friends, and most importantly, myself. There are some hard moments that I had to face within myself. The biggest one is love.
It’s coming up one year since my last relationship ended, and feelings coming up as the date gets closer. I will say that it does get easier. I love love, the romance, the being close with someone, the lil jokes, the cute kisses, the gazes upon the eyes, the look of love when they walk into the room, the working together to resolve issues, the talks, the exploration, the intimacy, the passion, the care, and lastly the best feeling in the world.
These are the beautiful things about love but you can’t forget to love all the messy parts, and the changes. That’s also apart of love. Like the seasons.
Lately I’ve been photographing surfers. I surf myself too, but it’s really cool to capture these people in the water. Just absolutely shredding or just getting after it. Winter surfing is no joke but it is one of the most fun times. It’s the only sport that you can’t control the waves the ocean the conditions you just have to flow with it
Boston is a beautiful city. Enjoy these photos!

Hey my name is Jose Fernando, & I love photography.
I’m here to share my love and knowledge for photography. I don’t really follow camera brands or influencers. To be honest most of this stuff I taught myself, but when I got more serious about photography, I purchased classes for it, and attended workshops from some of the best in the biz.
Past few weeks i quit social media, because let’s face it this algorithm stuff doesn’t let me think for myself, basically taking away what I want to see and explore. It’s some really fucked up shit. I like to have my own feee agency with what I want to do, or go. Don’t get me wrong, food recs on social was probably the best!
Clips, advice, dating, photos, surf, ragebait, political, ICE, all this content was reallllllly doing a number on my mental health
I get this is a social media platform but I had this when I was younger and I said why not 🤷🏻♂️
With life’s demands it’s been hard to get out there to solely take photos. Fitness, sleep, and work taking up most of my time, I put photography to the side. Sad, really.
I forgot another aspect of photos and that’s editing. So I decided to use Lightroom mobile on phone to work on some stuff, and this picture I revisited many time.
But I like how this came about.
Taken years ago, while I was on the beach with my X, we took in the sunrise.
