Hello! Lately Iāve been using nail polish to ink with, but you can also use markers, gel pens, sharpie, acrylic paint (I havenāt tried this yet, but Iāve seen people do it), etc.
Iām so happy you like my blog, but I moved to Instagram a little while ago under the same name. I post regularly there. I also have a re-inking and ink removal tutorial there if youāre interested ;)
hello, i only just realised you'd moved to instagram, ah! i don't have one and don't plan on getting one either, but i do have a dice collection blog here for reblogging and keeping all the dice pics i like, but now i don't know how to get your beautiful dice on it... would posting links to your instagram posts be okay, or would you consider that reposting? it's just way more convenient to reblog all the pics i like on my blog for my personal viewing, i don't care about followers or anything ^^;

I've been following you on Instagram for a while, but I just realized that you also have a Tumblr! I just got my first order of kraken dice and got a mystery pouch as part of it. Do you get mystery dice ever? And if so do you have any suggestions of how to identify them when you get them? I got some lovely dice and just can't find the name. ā¤ļø

I have ordered mystery dice from Kraken before, but I donāt do it often. Usually when Iām unsure about the dice id, I look at websites like thediceshoponline and other retailers, and look through the dice by color.
Iām also happy to help identifying dice, just send me a picture ;) I donāt use tumblr that much anymore so itās probably easier to contact me through Instagram.

Do you have any tips for removing the existing ink to prepare for re-inking? I tried a different color on one of my unmatched dice and it didn't quite cover up the color that was already there.
If itās resin dice I recommend nail polish remover. Hereās a great video of how to remove the ink [link]

I used a fine pilot metallic gold marker ;)
Hey, I also reink dice! I reink mine using metallic permanent markers that I got off Amazon - I scribble all over the numbers, let it dry, do that again, and then wipe the surfaces clean with a make-up pad and nail polish remover! Works like a dream and you don't need any precision with your inking either!
I do this too with my markers! Itās a really good method, but you canāt use nail polish remover on every dice. Be sure to test the nail polish remover first, that way the dice wonāt get ruined ;)
Iāve found that rubbing alcohol works very well and hasnāt damaged any dice Iāve used it on
Nice! Iāve read somewhere that acrylic dice doesnāt handle nail polish remover that well, do you know if rubbing alcohol is better?
No np remover will like melt your dice but if youāre quick and careful with your rubbing youāll be ok, do be cautious though
