The Foam Warrior

Had my first ever professional cosplay photoshoot which was also my families first ever professional family photoshoot. 😛

A more detailed view of my wife's Dracthyr Dalaran Mage cosplay. Con crunch deadline meant the staff and wings had to be postponed until a later time but I'm quite happy with how the travelling backpack turned out as an alternative. 🙂

Managed to con crunch these warcraft cosplays for Supanova Sydney. A few items didn't make the deadline but that just means upgrades for future cons. 🙂

A few more doodads and touchups and this hat is finished. 🙂

Did a test fit of these finished pauldrons with my existing death knight cosplay and made a meme in the process. 🙃

Made a 7th Legion pauldron - it pushed my sculpting ability out of its comfort zone and I've learned a lot for its next iteration. 🙂

I keep thinking of more doodads to add but I should probably leave it at this amount and call this done. 🫠

Dalaran Wizard hat project is chugging along again. It just needs some doodads and a paint job clean up. 🙂

Son wanted to be Kelthuzad for his schools costume parade. 2 weeks of cosplay crunch later and I managed to complete enough of a costume for him to wear! I'll be spending the next several months slowly fixing and adding to it for future conventions. 🙂

Commissions done so now I can box them, ship them and collapse. 🫠

It's been a busy few weeks! These 3 commissions are nearly complete with 1 more halfway done to tie off before I can send them all to their new owners!

Scroll commission is basically done. 🙂

Scroll commission is chugging along - the scroll end/caps will be painted up tomorrow and attached along with the scrolls hanging twine. This scroll design then needs a Dalaran eye symbol along the top to be done. 🙂

Ended up winning my first cosplay competition! 🙂

More shots of the deathknight cosplay. I even tested out different LED colours. 🙂

Mucking around outside testing flex/mobility and getting some more video/photos. Shame direct sunlight drowns out the LEDs but the armour has a nice graphite shine to it. 🙂

I just need to finish the belt and position some Velcro dots at strategic points but I'm calling this pretty much done. 🙂
