Seriously ladies...and gents...How long can we be in love with “potential”?  My friends would tell you I’m too smart, hold too many degrees and I’m too creative to JUST “work in a call center”.  They never say this to me directly, but it’s true, I respect it.   There’s such a fine line between what you know you  can do and what you can actually get hired to do. Nonetheless, TRYING is better than the alternative.  Let’s talk about my boo “50″ from when I was still in Atlanta. We dated for 6 years on and off, before I finally got tired.  Six years is a long time. In fact, I could’ve started my own business in that same amount of time.  During that time, I saw him attempt to do club promotions-first with a team, then he tried to branch out solo; he also talked about developing his own skin care line; and in the midst, he would change day jobs about every 6 months, because “the job was tripping”.  Now, my latest rehab project not only has big dreams, but he wants me to help  And by help I mean spend my “free time” working on his project.  I don’t mind helping, but what I do mind is feeling like he’s not trying to help himself.  He is a sales person by trade, but so am I.  Initially, I was REALLY engaged.  Now I feel like I’m being sold to.  He paints these grandiose visions, however, there’s a pretty large disparity between his visions and what’s actually taking place here in real life. Look here...I will support the fuck out of you...like I’m a caregiver by nature, but don’t try to pimp me.  That’s not a good look. How much do you give before you’re over it?
