Here is a poem that I wrote about Uncle Sam. Itās something that majority of us can relate to.
Uncle Sam: The Original Gangster
Uncle Sam wants your money, house, and land
If you donāt pay, heāll take it all, thatās the plan
Red, white, and bruisedāyeah, the systemās a scam
Taking from the people, feeding greed by the gram
Got a flag in your yard, but your debts in his hands
as he tightens the government clamps.
Taxing your breath, enslaving your name
You work all day playing his game.
You chase that dream with broken knees
While he profits from your liberties.
Uncle Sam wants your money, house, and land
If you donāt pay, heāll take it all, thatās the plan
Sign on the dotted line, no room for delay.
Freedom costs in all capital letters.
āHome of the braveā just really a debt slave.
Got chains in the mail and the bills never end
By printing the laws while robbing the poor
Uncle Sam is knockingā at your door.
His power is dressed in a three-piece suit
Patriot lies in a red-white boot
He says itās justice, says itās right
But his judges got a bonus last Friday night.
Uncle Sam wants your money, house, and land
If you donāt pay, heāll take it all, thatās the plan
Sign on the dotted line, no room for delay
Freedom costs in all capital letters.
