Douxie had been on a night time stroll with his beloved before she spotted someone in the trees, As soon as she saw who was she let out a gasp and called out.

"Papa rot! Down here!"

Angor Rot, proud and alert, hopped down with much elegance from his treetop ;perch, and he approached Kat with a hardly noticed pep in his step. It was not often he was able to meet up with one of his adopted brood. He reached up after sheathing his blade and ruffled her hair in a playful gesture, “How have you been, young one?” He thrummed in his chest as he gave Douxie a slight sneer to give the young man a spot of intimidation. He was not at all bothered by him, yet he was stepping in on his daughter, which brought upon instinctive fatherly habits.

The young wizard gulped softly muttering softly "oh FuzzBuckets" trying to not be rude as Kat had her time with her father.

Kat had noticed her papa acting a bit to protective and booped his large nose gently.

"papa, We talked about this. Douxie is a sweetheart and would never hurt me or my sister, and I'm doing just fine, dealing with work stress but nothing your wizard daughter can't handle"

Kat said with a large grin as Douxie chuckled softly with a light huff.

"doesn't help that her co-workers think it's funny to pick on her for being slightly slower at work then others. I still think she should speak to her manager about it to make them stop"

“Is there someone I must take care of for you, my dear one?” Angor raised a bemused brow about his daughter being picked on and tapped his fingers against his crossed arm. Rot rolled his eyes at Douxie’s reply as the young wizard rambled on about Kat and himself on daily routines and the occasional happenings, “Are you finished, young wizard?” He smirked before placing a heavy hand upon Hisridoux’s shoulder.

Feeling the large trolls hand on his shoulder made him at first go rigged but he soon calmed down before smirking back at Rot before speaking.

"On the contrary my good troll, I'm never done when talking about your fair daughter that I care dearly about"

Douxie said with a slight sas in his voice making Kat blush a soft hue of pink with a giggle, she always loved it when he tired to seem less intimidated by her papa.
