Claire has just a purple aura in general. Like she has her style figured out. Her order at coffee shops and food places, the candy she gets at the movies, her clothes, her social media profiles, she’s known who she’s wanted to be and she just is unapologetically herself despite her mothers political influence and pressure to be someone she’s not

Jim smells like sea salt and like ocean scents

After defeating the arcane order and lowkey … dying … Douxie gets a crazy fear of heights. Like he’d never been really that afraid of heights before but after he was TERRIFIED

Douxie is a theatre kid. Like being in theatre for hundreds of years type theatre kid. He and Claire DEVOUR karaoke night

Douxie never orders with his real name at a coffee shop. Like he doesn’t bother with Douxie or hisirdoux he just says Derek or something

Jim has ptsd. Bad. And nightmares

Krel also has ptsd, also very bad. He is not a fan of very loud noises and bright lights.

Douxie cleans when he’s nervous. I see a lot of head canons and fics where hes really messy and disorganized but I just see him being a clean freak because of Merlin constantly making him clean everything

Claire and Douxie are both OBSESSED with the hunger games and they yap about it for hours

Claire actually also loves Harry Potter but Douxie hates it

Jim loves to read but never knows *what* to read, but luckily his adoptive big brother works at a book store. He and also Claire give him great recommendations

Claire LOVES whimsical makeup and specifically loves collecting eyeshadow palettes

Steve has a high ass screen time and is very chronically online. He’s also referencing some tiktok thing that requires 24 hours of screentime to understand

Douxie forgets to eat. A lot.

Claire has a big collection of stuffed animals. Jim keeps helping her add to it. She’s making an army

So, someone asked me more info about this AU, and it might had woke something inside me. I would like to add more to this lore.

So, Douxie is the master wizard of Camelot, he made a Blood Oath to the crown, to Jim, to follow him no matter what, and to be loyal to his orders. Douxie crowned him king to both human and magic kind, and in the process bonded his magic to the Oath.

But what happens when the kind heart of the king you once knew starts to fill with darkness and rage? What if the pressure of the crown is so much he slowly forgets who he is.

This idea is a little mix I made a few years ago, from something @sakon76 said once, and a little bit of werewolf dinamics.

“The divine kings, have the power to make everyone around them follow them. Their word is people’s command”. So let it be.

Douxie didn’t just made an oath, he sealed his magic to Jim’s will. Jim knew the power that he got when he became a divine king, but never used said power to force, manipulate, or hurt anyone. He never forced Douxie to follow his orders, he allowed him to have free will. But then- things changed.

Douxie new the pressure on Jim’s shoulders. He knew he was afraid to loose Claire. He understood- but still… he had never saw Jim so mad before-

And it doesn’t matter how many years you’d spent getting to know someone… the truth is, you never really know another person completely. And someone who claimed to be your friend, your brother, your family, could turn out to be a monster. Even if he didn’t do it on purpose.

“Thought you quit back in the 90s.”

Zoe startles, coughing out a puff of smoke, whipping around to find the intruder— it’s just Douxie. She rolls her eyes, slight adrenaline spike coming down.

“I lied,” she coughs.

He leans against the alley wall beside her, concern pulling at his brow, “not like you to get startled.”

“Not like you to come around without a grand entrance,” she grumbles, leaning back against the wall herself.

“What’s wrong?”

She doesn’t look at him, and takes another drag. She hears him click his teeth and sigh, and his palm is out in the open for the cigarette. She turns her head to face him and glares, blowing out smoke. He’s unwavering, with a stupid, genuine, persuading smile on his face. She rolls her eyes again, more dramatic this time, and places the cigarette in his hand as forcefully as she can without burning him.
