I finished The Amazing Digital Dating Simulator a couple days ago and I genuinely really loved it. When I heard there’s a Caine and Kinger route DLC in the making, i immediately started thinking about how the story could continue after the original ending. So I ended up cooking up a little Summer DLC concept of my own that I might eventually try pitching to the developers somehow. The main idea was continuing the already existing relationships instead of restarting them while still keeping the social/romance focus of the original game. Hope you enjoy it and please leave a review down below to help me further improve the story since its still a WIP.
BACKSTORY
After the culture fair ending the school enters a much more subtle period. Our relationship continues with whoever we ended up with in the original game. Since the cast grew closer with the planning of the culture fair, they start spending time together more often than not without Caine’s intervention. They plan and celebrate the autumn and winter holydays like Halloween, Christmas and New Years eve.
Seeing this Caine comes to his own conclusion: maybe the cast doesn’t need him as much as he thought they did and without making a fuss about it he decides to start something he calls “independence initiative” stepping back from managing his students.
At first the cast finally has a breath of fresh air (especially Zooble) and our relationship and lessons continue as normal but without holydays or Caines activities bringing everyone together, the days start to blend together and the students start to drift apart
Meanwhile Caine keeps observing from the distance convinced his plans worked and cast can manage on their own without his intervention. But eventually around summer time he realises that the viewership has dropped rapidly and steps in to fix everything
MAIN STORY
With Caines return the cast is immediately annoyed since they thought they finally can have summer all to themselves. After a brief talk Caine announces “The Amazing Digital Summer School” a mandatory 2 week summer school designed to bring viewership back.
Unlike the original game the story and our relationship continues from where we left off but after months of boring routine the relation ship less emotionally active then before. The summer school will slowly bring back that connection the cast has planning the culture fair.
At the same time, the program unintentionally starts rebuilding the group dynamic as a whole. Things that were only meant by Caine to increase “engagement” end up forcing everyone to interact again.
The largest event of the program becomes the preparation for a huge pool party at the end of the 2 weeks similar to the culture fair.
AFTERMATH
By the time the Pool Party finally arrives, it no longer feels important just because it’s a reward by Caine. Instead, it becomes proof that the cast managed to reconnect after months of slowly drifting apart.
Meanwhile, Caine sees the entire thing as a complete success for his own reasons. Rather than understanding the emotional side of what he did, he proudly believes his “viewership revival initiative” successfully restored activity and entertainment value to the school.
Thank you for reading this far hope you liked it.
