Mental health is weird. I’ve had anxiety and depression for more than half my life at this point and the depression I know how to handle. It’s like a neighbor that you don’t like but you can do things to avoid them, put up a fence, keep the piece and all that, but the anxiety god it’s like a burglar, it’s invades when you least expect it and make you question everything. Like great I don’t want to kill my self but instead I’m worried constantly for what feels like the stupidest reasons and trying to break that cycle is so much harder.
I’m stuck in this in between feeling of is this a looming migraine or just my brain being weird. The tingle of something looming but it has yet to breach the dam. I’m sat trying to decide should I take something now and it be unneeded or should I wait but run the risk of it not helping because I waited too long. Normally my migraines come on hard and fast or I just simply wake up with them but this it’s like being slowly edged for a lack of better terms.
