My CC hoarding has caught up with me and while I would love to have a million hairstyles in my game I have to limit them to what works together and also if theyāre similar in style (ex. the different variations of afro puffs). I think Iāll make some sort of visual chart for reference š¤
As we get closer to the release of this new royalty pack I find myself wanting to create lore for some of my future royal families and to expand the royalty gameplay in the other worlds. For the noble classes and their residential worlds Iām thinking:
King/Queen: Ondarion
Prince/Princess: depends on order of succession (heir stays in Ondarion, other siblings become dukes/duchesses of other worlds)
Duke/Duchess: Windenburg
Marchess/Marquessa: Tartosa
Count/Countess: Ravenwood
Viscount/Viscountess: Henford
Baron/Baroness: ???

Today I had to face the reality that I need to stop hoarding CC because while clearing up my folders to update before tomorrow I went from 254GB to 198GB. I donāt even use all of the custom content in my game and I only ever do rotational play with 8-24 sims because I like to keep things small. When I update Iām going to really have to lock in and stay under 230GB
Iām so glad I got a heads up about the impending modpocalypse tomorrow so I can fill up my empty worlds before going offline. I play with blank saves and fill them up as I go but something tells me itāll be a minute before I update this time around. Good luck to everyone updating right away!
After decades of playing the various Sims games solo, I donāt know how a multiplayer game would even work. Iām not interested in Project Rene but I am really curious as to how the gameplay would be. Us simmers in general are protective of our save files and sims so surely there would have to be a function that prevents story progression and certain interactions from taking place. Imagine how annoying it would be to not play for a day or two and then you come back to discover your sim randomly had a baby with another playerās sim or that they got married.
I just came across a recommended mod on Twitter that is a game changer. LunarBritney has created a mod that deletes worlds! If you donāt want to play or remodel all the worlds or you simply donāt need them for your gameplay I recommend this mod. Itās experimental so you need to backup your save, but the creator said that if you delete the package of the deleted individual world file you want back itāll respawn. In my save Iām playing only the worlds that I feel are connected to each other geographically with two vacation worlds so this is how it looks in my edit world menu:

It took me a whole year to figure out the reason T.O.O.L. wasnāt working is because I didnāt move the script file into the main mod folder š«¢ Now that Iāve learned my lesson Iāve been exploring the different features and how I can make the worlds more livable for my sims. Below is a picture of a bus stop I made in San Myshuno. It took forever partly because I didnāt realize I could click and move objects as a group but I got it done šŖš½ The bench can be sat on and the sign next to it is a travel mod which makes it more interactive.
